Life happens, and on occasion, residents may have excess garbage due to a family get-together or other event. As a courtesy, you can request an extra dump of your recycling or garbage cart before your next regularly scheduled collection day. The fee for the extra dump is $25.

To request an extra dump, complete and submit the form below and the applicable fee.*

Requests for an additional dump of a recycling or garbage cart will be honored by the end of the business day requested if the request is received by 1:00 p.m., the day the extra dump is asked for.

*If you are unable to submit this application electronically, print this page, provide the required information, and drop-off the application with the applicable fee at Davenport Public Works, 1200 E 46th St, Davenport, IA 52807 or Davenport City Hall, 226 W 4th St., Davenport, IA 52801 no later than 10:00 a.m. the day of the requested extra dump.
